Ever After.
Berlin (Autumn 2009).
This body of work was commissioned by the White Room Gallery in Galway for a concept exhibition entitled "10x10", curated by Anna McCarthy. 10 artists created 10 pieces or work each, with each piece measuring 10x10 inches, for sale at the reduced price of 100 euros. The show runs from the 4th December 2009 to the 11th January 2010.
I received a young artists' award from Liljesonska Stiftelsen, a private art fund in Sweden earlier this year, which enabled me to go to Berlin for three weeks to do research. The paintings created for this show are based on my trip to Berlin.
